I am also having this problem! (just now!) I am using Windows XP and LabVIEW 2010. The listed errors are random - yesterday there was no error message or log just the shut down. The error from this morning is below however incase anyone has any thoughts on it....

Hi Diana,
This was reported to R&D (# 246099) for further investigation. In order to find a workaround for this, it would be helpful to narrow this down to a particular VI or set of code that can consistently reproduce the error. If you can consistently reproduce the error, then we can identify what is causing it and eliminate that from the code.
Thanks for the feedback.

"Save Often".
This consistently saves an insane object. What happened to the old popup window that clearly stated what & where the insane object was? I thought I was golden because I haven't seen one in a long time, but instead I get the disappearing LabVIEW for more frequently than ever before.
Less features, more stability please.
