Does someone have a driver for Xilink's Virtex. We are going to be using a Virtex 4 for some undergraduate computer engineering labs and need a LabVIEW dirver.
Simply put, National instruments does not have a driver for a Virtex-4 chip. Actually, the all drivers we provide are for FPGA targets in NI products, all of which are either Spartan, Virtex-2, or Virtex-5. One exception is that we put out a driver some time ago for a Spartan 3E starter board.
To extend on this question, does this mean that the LabVIEW FPGA module can program and virtex 5 FPGA? (i.e. Xilinx development boards, etc..) or is it strictly for use with NI hardware?
LabVIEW FPGA can only be used for NI Reconfigurable IO (NI-RIO) hardware. If you would like to learn more, the FPGA page of ni.com has alot of useful information on what NI-FPGA module supports.
