LabVIEW RT Binary Data Compression?

I want to compress binary data to be written to file to save hard drive space. I have used Zlib compression in the past with great results, but am unable to use it on a LabVIEW RT remote PXI target. Anyone habe any suggestions, Zlib related or not, to compress the binary data? Thanks in advance for any help.
