LabVIEW NXG 'claiming' my matlab .m files

Hello all,

I work with both LabVIEW and Matlab (I know, I know...). Both have very specific uses for me. I have been dealing with quite a frustrating issue for a while now, and I was wondering if anyone has any ideas for a long term fix.

I find that NXG 'claims' all my .m files from Matlab. It's quite infuriating. Please see an attached screenshot. Short of uninstalling NXG (which I will may do anyway because it runs like a sack of potatoes), has anyone got any advice how to stop this unnecessary behaviour?

Best wishes,

Adam.

Easy fix: remove the bloatware that is NXG

You could also change the default program which windows uses for .m files back to matlab.

A lot easier and convenient:

Cheers,

Andreas

Ps: True, removing NXP also works
