LabVIEW IMAQ Find Edge Output Issue

For the IMAQ Find Edge function, the overlay that I have setup shows an edge being found, but the output with the numerical location  of the edge is being showed as grayed out and does not produce a result.  I am inexperienced in LabVIEW and I am trying to use LabVIEW to implement machine vision.  Any advice would be very helpful.

Here is the file in question with a screen shot of the front panel.  The "straight edge" output is grayed out, when the overlay shows a detected edge.
