Open MAX to play with your GPIB card & the instrument under control. This is to make sure the connection, configure, commands, data communication etc are all properly set.

Then you'll have this type of issue solved. Good luck.

Hi AM33,

 

Could you please add a Simple Error Handler at the end of your VI so we can see more information on the error? Please try increasing the timeout value on your GPIB Write.

 

The GPIB Write command will be specific to your devices. Please try looking through the device manuals to determine what this command should be doing.
