Having multiple strengths allways provides career options.  As a test engineer with solid LabVIEW skills I've managed to earn a living doing what I enjoy.  Having some experience with TestStand has helped win some contracts as well. 

I guess- I'm encouraging you to do what you enjoy!  If you can keep food on the table and a roof over your head while doing what you like to do count yourself among the exceptionally lucky few.
