I have an AB SLC 5/04 PLC with DH+ communications. I plan to use the AB 1784-U2DHP interface for a USB connection to a PC running a LabView application.
Can LabView use the NI OPC server to talk to the 1784-U2DHP directly, or do I need to use an AB server like RSLinx?
The 1784-U2DHP adapter creates a virtual com port that is used to connect to the PLC via the DF1 Protocol. You will find the AB DF1 Protocol driver in the NI OPC Server.
