LabVIEW Application on VM

My Customer want the LabVIEW Application to be deployed on Azure Virtual Machine.

• How to Acquire data through Azure Webservices?
• Launch LabVIEW Executable /Any other Tools?

I'm also curious. 

my guess is if there is data to be acquired, the daq needs to "see" the  VM over the network.

I was curious too, so I searched " labview on virtual machines?" and got a whole page of Knowledge Base articles and forum posts.  It is not officially supported due to the nightmare that would be for NI, but it should work.  No PCI/PCIe bus, but that's normal for VMs.  An important note was for licensing:  NI Licensing Policy on Virtual Machines - NI which says a VM is the same as a physical PC, so you are limited in sharing development environments or any EXE that requires paid toolkits or other paid options.
