LabVIEW 5.1 VI Server

I cannot get the VI Server to call remote VIs by reference. I have
followed all of NIs instructions to set up the Edit>>Preferences menus,
but each time a try to call a VI, I get the message that VI Server
access is denied. Oddly, I can use the application property node to see
things like Application Version and Operating System, but not whether
the TCP/IP listerner is active... another Access denied message.

Anyone have any suggestions?
