LabVIEW 2012 does not load CLR 2.0 by default

Hello everyone!

I was trying to load an old assembly which is targeted CLR 2.0. I use LabVIEW 2012 version because I read earlier version of LabVIEW load CLR 2.0 by default. However, when I add a .Net object, my LabVIEW still uses CLR 4.0.30319, as shown below:

I tried methods listed in my old post:

Try to load CLR 2.0 by LabVIEW 2020

and also these methods:

Loading .NET 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5 Assemblies in LabVIEW

How Can I Force LabVIEW to Use a Version of the .NET Framework

None of above methods works. My LabVIEW 2012 stills uses CLR 4.0 instead of 2.0.

Any advice?

Thank you!

FYI, LV 2012 is not compatible with Win10:

LabVIEW and Microsoft Windows Compatibility.

Unfortunately, I don't know enough about LV vs .NET to tell you anything useful.  😞
