LabVIEW 2011 is out!

dkfire, thanks for the quick reply.

When I try to download these files directly, I see the following message:

Reference #172.49d1381.1312211285.18a85ec

An error occurred while processing your request.

There are multiple options to download the device driver DVD.

You can download it using the NI downloader (Only one works):

http://download.ni.com/support/softlib/driver_cd/aug_11/dcd_aug11_1_downloader.exe

http://download.ni.com/support/softlib/driver_cd/aug_11/dcd_aug11_2_downloader.exe

(Only one NI download seems to work, but you still need the two files)

You can download the files directly:

http://download.ni.com/support/softlib/driver_cd/aug_11/dcd_aug11_1.exe

http://download.ni.com/support/softlib/driver_cd/aug_11/dcd_aug11_2.exe

Or there are a zip file:

http://download.ni.com/support/softlib/driver_cd/aug_11/dcd_aug11.zip

Just remember that is it 4.7 Gb you have to download!

This file:

http://download.ni.com/support/softlib/driver_cd/aug_11/dcd_aug11_1.exe

and this file

http://download.ni.com/support/softlib/driver_cd/aug_11/dcd_aug11.zip

both do not work.  It is why the NI downloader tool fails on the first one as well.  My report to NI came back with debug instructions for the FTP site, so they obviously didn't really read the email I sent or try the links I posted which did not work.  The other poster listed the error message you get when trying the direct download of either file.  I just checked again, and both are still failing.

What I did was, used the NI downloader for file 1  and after that download file 2 directly.

Count yourself fortunate that the first downloader worked, as I never got it to work.  The downloader itself was fine, but when it attempted to download the file, it failed repeatedly.

Matthew Kelton - I'm having the same problem here with the downloader.  But somehow the FTP server is working now:

ftp://ftp.ni.com/support/softlib/driver_cd/aug_11/dcd_aug11.zip

Just beware that as of now, the link for the Vision Development Module Toolkit is incorrect. It will lead you to download the 2010 version. A quick fix is to do a NI website search for "VDM 2011" and use the search result entitled "Vision Development Module 2011 - Windows 7 64 bit/7 x86/XP/Vista ".

HTH.

I am having no luck updating from 2010 to 2011 without loosing the DAQmx functions.  I have tried several times to reload 2011 and DAQmx 9.3. I have now removed both 2010 and 2011 to try a clean install using the downloaded 2011 installation.  The install is almost done (99%) with the "Install Hardware Support for LabVIEW" frame wanting to know where the drivers are located.

I should be able to Decline Support and Load DAQmx 9.3 after the finishing loading LabVIEW 2011 - correct?

TIA
