Hi!
I received my LabVIEW 2010 discs this week and got around to playing with it last night. Please discuss the new features in LabVIEW 2010 that you like and why. I will start.
New features for Installers! I really like that NI included a virtual path to the LabVIEW 2010 Run-Time folder. This will be really helpful for installing Remote Panel .html files for my applications Custom installer welcome graphics and banners will help with my application branding, so I'm excited to use those as well.
The other feature I'm excited to use is the packed project files! This will be especially nice when I have to work on a project at home.

I like the cluster constant view as icon. This will save a lot of space in my diagrams. I do see one problem in that when I need to open then to edit them then they grow back to full size. If you have auto grow enabled then you have a huge diagram instantly.I added an idea in the idea exchange to have them come up in a new window like a type def.

I just noticed a new feature.
When you do a Ctrl-I or File / VI properties, in LV 2010, there is a new information block that says "Source Version". So now you know what version the VI was last saved under without going through the extra step to do a "List Unsaved Changes".

Absolutly super cool: HTTP VIs. It's very good improvement so we can finally nicely interact with web-services.

Right-click a string constant and select Visible Items»Display Style from the shortcut menu to display a glyph on the object that indicates the string display type.
Very useful !
