I should use lab view 2018 software with Bev-Alert CO2 analyzer.I should not b able to establish communication with C-DAQ device.Also diagnostic window show C DAQ error.Kindly help me on this issues.Thank you.

Hi!
Start NI Max (NI Measurement & Automation Explorer) and navigate to network devices. The cDAQ shoud be listed there with all the modules plugged into it. (Mine is not connected, so no modules found, and the cDAQ itself has this red dot)
Next, a cDAQ must be "reserved" by the computer. There are buttons to reserve / release once the cDAQ is available. Check if it is reserved, otherwise, do so.
You can perform self-tests here as well
We use cDAQs a lot. In most cases, it's either a network problem, or the cDAQ is not reserved, and everything can be solved here.
