This one is a bit more difficult. I have a variety of questions open about problems with Labview not working with clean (ie no previous) installations of Matlab6.5 Great i thought, I can write my own 'AutomationOpen' function which is much nicer to deal with.
So I created a CIN, and went into debug mode to check the value of the LVRefNum (MagicCookie) - and lo - it is undocumented. Argh. Therefore does anyone know (apart from NI) how to actually create a LVRefNum which can be used for all other Automation (ActiveX) functions?
Im happy to create the 'OpenCom' function calls but am at a loss how to proceed?
