When you include additional installers in an installation build specification it requests the installation files from the location that they were installed onto your computer. This is typically the Developer Suite DVDs but also could be from the NI Update Service or a manual download from ni.com.

You can also manually download whichever runtime engine you need from here: http://search.ni.com/nisearch/app/main/p/bot/no/ap/tech/lang/en/pg/1/sn/catnav:du/q/LabVIEW%202012%2...

And run the install, which should update the system's pathing to where it assumes the MSI is.

I followed the links, and I see a link to an executable, but not to an msi file.  I have downloaded the 2017 run-times, and they contain a self-extracting executable but not an msi file. Are there any releases of the LabVIEW Run-Time that are the msi file that one can use to do a silent install without any popups coming up - for an unattended installation?

thanks,
