LV 7.1 Mass Compile oddity

I am trying to mass compile VI libraries in LabVIEW 7.1 When some of the old DAQ VIs are loading I get an error dialog box stating LabVIEW.exe cannot load NISCALE.DLL. Please reload the application to fix the problem.

I searched for this NISCALE.DLL and found it in the following path:

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\RT Images\NI-DAQ\7.2.0.3.1

I clicked properties on the DLL and found it to be version 1.1.3.0.

Any ideas?

Hi rberger,

LabVIEW 7.1 installs NI-Scale for the USI (Storage VIs). It seems like the niscale.dll has been installed in the wrong directory. Try copying and pasting the niscale.dll to the folder C:\Windows\System 32. Then, restart your computer and relaunch LabVIEW.

I just tried reparing the NI-DAQmx and NI-DAQ 7.2 installation. This works. The "old" DAQ VIs do not load up broken.
