LAbVIEW, Linux and Application Builder

Hi,

I'm using Labview under Linux.

I have written an apllication, the problem is that, when I try to build it, only "Source Distribution"  folder is created,  so you can see the VI code.

I would like to avoid this and only allow its execution. How can I do this?

I tried to change the file permission, but with  "chmod 111" permissions, the files are not even open.

Thanks,

Salvo

Hi nept,

does your LabVIEW license allow you to build applications?

Did you activate the AppBuilder?

(The option "Create Source Distribution" is part of the "base" LabVIEW version - other options appear with an activated AppBuilder license.)

Best regards,
GerdW

Thanks for your reply.

I have "full edition".

I thought it was included.

Thanks,

It seems you didn't select your edition carefully enough: NI shows that list to compare the editions! (Check the last part of the table…)
