Key/value storage

Short question:

 

Has any work been made on key/value storage in LabVIEW, either main-memory or file-based? With key/value I mean hash tables, B-trees, etc.

Take a look at variant attributes. They can be used to store key/value pairs. Their searches have also been optimized.
