Hi,
I'm trying to make a FPGA subvi with a configurable CAN IO node (using the 9853 module, which has 2 interfaces).
I obviously tried making a FPGA IO control wired to the IO node, but then the IO node becomes generic and stops working. Even by specifying the IO type on the control doesn't make it work. Apparently, I really have to specify the CAN0 on the node itself to make it work.
I could duplicate the subvi with CAN1 nodes instead of CAN0 nodes, but I'd rather keep the same with a configurable control.
Any ideas ?
Thanks,
Martin

Martin,
I encountered the same problem (see here).
NI UK have verified that this is a genuine fault and it has been raised as CAR #329439.
