I am trying to detect single nanoparticles by electrophysiological measurements (Nanopore technology) using Axopatch. Here is a brief description of Nanopore technology. The electrodes are placed on both sides of nano-sized pores (prepared by silicon nitride, glass, etc.) and filled with electrolyte solution. Target particles are then added to one side of the nanopore. A voltage is then applied to the electrodes to generate a current. The current value is constant when only ions pass through the pore, but when the target particles translocate the nanopore, the flow of ions is blocked. The result of the measurement is that the translocation of a single particle is recorded as a single signal, as shown in the attached figure. I am considering the construction of a system that automatically stops the measurement when this single signal appears. Specifically, I would like to set a threshold for current inhibition due to the translocation of a particle, and stop the measurement when the threshold is exceeded. Is it possible to do this in LabVIEW? Also, do I need to use any additional software?
Thank you very much for your cooperation.

So you are taking measurements and want to do something when the measurement exceeds a certain threshold?
LabVIEW can do that.

Yes. My colleague John Horn has a manual in 2004 for LabVIEW Version 8 that controlled an AxoClamp 2B (you can find the manual on the Web). He may have a more modern version of this software ...

Thank you for your reply.
Also, thank you for pointing me to the website about the manual. I will definitely check it out.

Mr. RTSLVU
Thank you for your reply.
I will challenge to control the measurement using LabVIEW.

Sorry, I want to control "Axopatch 200B".
