Hi Tajmal,
I have installed the DSP module and taken some time to examine it a little more closely.
Essentially the use of the DSK devices should be fairly straightforward. Once the DSP module is installed, you may start up LabVIEW 7.1 Embedded Edition and simply select the target 'DSK6713' from the drop-down menu. Once this is done you simply choose 'New>Blank VI' to start coding.
Once the front panel/block diagram opens you may begin to develop your code. All of the functions and controls provided to you (bar the 'SPEEDY' VIs) will be compatible with your DSK hardware.
In order to read/write data via DIO lines & ports and analogue I/O channels you may simply use the elemental I/O nodes. Once dropped onto your block diagram you may configure the node to target a particular I/O channel on your device - you can do this by simply right-clicking the node and selecting 'Configure...'
Any problems with your VI's code will be checked automatically by LabVIEW when you hit the 'Run' button. You will be alerted to these issues if/when they occur, and their block diagram location highlighted to you so you may rectify the issue.
Unfortunately, without the relavent hardware present I cannot comment much further. My suggestion is to contact your local Field Engineer who may be able to visit you, demonstrate the module to you, and answer your questions in person so you may gain more of an understanding as to how it relates to your hardware.
You may arrange an appointment by contacting your ISR (Iinternal Sales Representative) on 01635-572-414. Please have your customer number to hand (if you a know it), and/or your postal address and contact details.
Otherwise, you may post your details here and I will speak to the ISR on your behalf, and have them contact you. The choice is entirely yours.
