Hi all, I am looking to implement an automated test system for some battery packs. At the moment I use a python script to control chargers over Ethernet. I want to add some extra test equipment so am thinking of using LabVIEW.
This is the set up I think I need: https://i.imgur.com/E9j3VOd.jpg
Does this look achievable? And how much set up time would you estimate? I’ve never used LabVIEW before. I have always used MATLAB and Simulink. Culver's Guest Satisfaction Survey
Thank you!
Also, how do you pick what LabVIEW license is needed?

LabVIEW excels at these kinds of things, but honestly, if you've never used LabVIEW before, you're probably best off going with what you know. Or if you have a LabVIEW guru there, hand over the project to him. Or hire outside help.
This is a little complex for a beginner.

Look here. If you will not deploy the application and will not use advanced built-in signal processing, the base version might be sufficient.
