Invisible Tab Page Causes Controls to not Work Properly

@Gleichman wrote:

If this is only a programming error, I would expect LabVIEW to not open the tab and return an error. Making the tab visible, but not fully functional seems like a bug. In my example you can type directly into the numeric control and the value change is captured, but the increment/decrement buttons on the numeric control are non-functional.

If you referred to my post, I did not say it is a programming error. I only emphasized that TAB controls lets say problematic things in LabVIEW. I got hurt too in the past. I bring your attention to a blog highlighting some of these things: http://www.notatamelion.com/tag/tab-controls/

About the behaviour: I would expect that LV in such case just ignored switching to the invisible page, or switching to that should it make the page visible AND functional? 🙂 I am really not sure 🙂
