Interrupts

Is there anyway to squash all the interrupts using labview, so, I can
communicate with the com port, as quickly as possible, without going to do
Windows crap?

The most effective way to work with COM ports is to use VISA sessions, because VISA works with serial devices via interrupts. In LV6i all of serial functions are written with the help of VISA. In earlier versions of LV serial function were written as special device drivers and were very slow. In this case the best way is to write your own DLL on C++ for example and then use it in LV.
