I receive this message when I start Labview 8.5. It also says to relaunch Labview or contact NI to resolve the problem.

If you submit a .cpp crash report to NI an Application Enginner will work with you to resolve the crash or report it to R&D.

Thank you for the information. It would have been nice if customer service had told me that yesterday. Actually, it would be nice if NI provided real tech support instead of the wish and a prayer type that  comes with discussion forums. Unfortunately I didnr have time to wait for an eventual resolution that I might get through this avenue.

I used to like working with NI and its products, this experience is causing me to rethink. Its getting to be to much like dealing with Allen-Bradley.

Yea, "Service Contract". My basic problem with this is I am paying you to tell me how to overcome a problem you have in your code. Doesnt seem right. Its great for your company of course. FYI, Allen-Bradley has the same philosphy and they are starting to lose customers because of this high demand to be paid for everything.

To expand upon my first post.  Internal LabVIEW cpp errors submitted by customers are addressed by an AE regardless whether or not the customer has a service contract.
