Instument Driver Finder closes itself with an error message 'check your internet connection'.
It gives this message even if connected to internet.Due to this, not able to access already installed drivers.

Usually this is caused by a firewall. If you have a firewall on your local computer you could try temporarily disabling it to see if that lets you get through.
You can also access instrument drivers from the NI web site at IDNET.

I have tried to disable Windows Firewall but it is still giving me the same error. My driver is sm125(micron optics) plug and play (project styled). I have saved the drivers after downloading them from IDN in <LabVIEW>\instr.lib
Now i want to access Instrument Drivers palette, but not able to do so.

Accessing the palette has nothing at all to do with an internet connection. Was the unzip of the driver done? Can you manually open any VI in the lvlib? Can you expand all folders in instr.lib and post an image?

Dennis , i can do all that you have mentioned.
I have found my solution.I was not able to access palette of my drivers.I could have accessed it by Instrument driver finder. But i have found alternative.Access it by going to view>functionspalette. If functions palette appears dim,go to view>control palette>search type your driver name.

The normal way to view the functions palette is to simply use a right click. You are taking the long way.
