Instant Plus Protection API/DLL calls

In this thread SJT posts a zip folder containing VI and Protection Plus DLL.

I'm getting LV error "Could not initialize application. Error 42. Please try right-clicking and choosing Run as administrator...

I have attached the zip.  Is anybody else getting this error??

Hello battler,

I ran the VI and I didn’t have any trouble in it, so I want to ask you if you are the administrator on your computer or not, since that is what the error message is saying.

I took screenshots of the functionality of the VI that you send, so you can see if that was the functionality that you needed.

The Error 42 is a generic error, so that is why you cant have much information in the LabVIEW Help.

Worked fine for me as well (on a Windows XP VM)

Thank you guys.

I am using Win 8 and I am administrator.

I had to build VI to exe then right-click "Run as administrator".  Then it worked.

I only had to right-click and Run as admin once then after that the exe runs and opens DLL no problem.
