Installing new license file wiped out old LabVIEW usage info

I bought some additional LabVIEW Application Builder licenses for the VLM I run.  I got the new license file and installed it.  The older license file was setup for 8.0, the new for 8.2 (we're on maintenance, so we get upgrades), anyway ...

It successfully bumped the 8.0 App Builders to 8.2.  It wiped the usage info for 8.0 LabVIEW Full.  ACK!!!

When I searched for support, I found the VLM 2.0 update.  I was running the VLM 1.0 I was shipped with the original agreement, though I see VLM 2.0 was available before I received this.  Oh well.

So, am I going to have to manually generate new license files for all my users?  I only use VLM in disconnected mode as my user base is very geographically diverse.

Hi JulieC,

In order for use to help solve your issue, we are going to need you to create a service request and then either email/call us. This is because we are going to need to get some files from you. Goto www.ni.com/support  and then select "Request Support" with either Phone or Email NI.

Thanks

You have mail!

(And I'll ignore the part of the canned response about "consider asking on the forums next time". ;))
