Installer Inclusions

I am running Labview 8.2.
I have two XP PC's sitting on my desk, one with labview installed. The other is essentially a fresh XP install, meaning no labview.
I created an application and an installer for my project. It works as intended on my labview PC. When I installed it on the blank PC it "hesitates" and does not work correclty.
To save time I have just been compiling my fixes onto the nework drive, and then trying to run it on the fresh computer, from the network drive.

This project uses shared variables, serial ports, and USB joysticks. I have gotten the shared variables working (deployed and coms with cFP). I am trying to figure out what might not have been included. in the runtime environment.

For example, I had to specify the location and load my .lvlib. I also included visa and checked the box for shared varaibles.

Any suggestions?

I should explain the hesitating. I have a watchdog program that runs verifies the connection with the cFP. the program will connect, and then it will freeze, then connect again. The program is supposed to make messages pop up when there are error. So far nothing that indicates why it hesitates.

Is there a way to debug an application running on a PC that does not have labview installed?

Indeed there is Kevan, and the LabVIEW 8.5 Help talks all about it:

Debugging Applications and Shared Libraries

Let me know if you're still having difficulties.

Well the remote debugging tool is pretty cool. It does however not work so well when the program starts and stopps. I was unable to use this tool successfully. I will be starting another thread with more detail on my current problem.
