LabView Group:
I'm trying to find out some information about the fees LabView Deveolpers
charge
for services as independent contractors. I've been working with LabView
for
several months developing various programs for my research group. I've been
approached by another research group about doing some LabView development
for
their project as an indepentant contractor but I am unfamiliar with the market
rate for
development work. The project seems pretty straight forward, some RS232
Xmodem comunication between their laptop and mutiple in-feild data loggers,
a
simple user interface, database storage and statistics of collected data,
and very little
actual data aquisition. They want to set up an hourly rate with milest
ones.
I'd like to
find out what other developers are asking per hour so I can evaluate the
fairness of
their proposal.
