Including driver template into palettes

Hallo community,

I've downloaded the driver template libraries including the *.mnu files to
develop my own drivers.
I copied it into a subdirectory within the instr directory and added a link
to the new mnu so it becomes loaded and visible in the function palette.
If I want to modify any of the template icons or links, the modification
won't get stored although I press the "Save changes" in the palette editor.
But if I crate a new link with icon, it will be stored.
What's the exact procedure to implement the template menus into the function
palette. The manuals don't say very much.

When you download the Template VI's, I think they are set as being Read-Only. Therefor when you try to save them, you are probably getting an error message that says it cannot save the changes. To fix this, find the VI's in the Windows explorer, right click on them and select properties. Make sure the read-only box is not checked for each of the files including the .mnu
