Improved Display Driver for TPC-2006 Industrial Touch Panel Computer

Tried doing what it says in the link here, no joy on the installation part.  Any ideas?

Hi,

When you started up the TPC with the CompactFlash card in - did it recognise the file? I have done this today on a TPC - and on boot it says 'Reading XIP.NB0'.
Once it finishes I get a message saying I need to remove the CompactFlash and reboot? Have you seen any of this - or does it just boot in the normal way (as if the CF card wasn't there).

Did you copy the XIP.NB0 file across correctly, If you view it on the PC with a card reader does it appear? Is the CF card blank apart from this file?

Can you give me some more info about the process you've followed - this worked first time for me

Hi Hannah,

The unit didn't recognise the file.  At least not in a bootable way.  When checking the icon of the file via the 2006 'desktop' there was a wee windows type logo.

Once I boot up the unit I get the NI logo, then blank!   Until I attempt to remove the card (had to test it) it stays blank.  Card removed....normal startup continues.

CF card I am using is a SanDisk 1 GB.  Formatted then the XIP.NBO file copied to it.

All the other attempts on installing have been word for word on the instructions.

Have you got a different CompactFlash card that you can try this with?

I'll keep looking, but let me know how this goes if you can test this out

Hi,
I tried to improve display driver as we can read in http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/8483a1a765455acf862571cb005a7d44. So I startup the TPC-2106T whit the CF and at the end I received the message saying I need to remove the CompactFlash and reboot. I turned off the TPC, I removed the CF and I turned on the TPC and the screen is blank.... I tried again with the CF but I cannot see anythink. What can I do?
