Importing pre *.nce files into MAX

I am trying to import a file created in measurement and explorer (labview 5) similar to the .nce files. this file is of a different format (non-nce) and the version 7 max doesn't recognise it. Is their anyway I can modify my old file to suit version 7?

I was wondering what type of file you are actually trying to import and from what version of MAX was it made in?

I no longer have access to that software but I think it came with Labview version 5. The file descriptor is nidaqcfg.document.

Any help appreciated.

By the look of the file it is a really old comfig file which is pre MAX, so you wont be able to transport it straight into MAX. The file is a .Doc file so you might be able to open it in a text editor if you need to find the data settings. You can then recreate it in MAX, I think this is probably your best bet. Sorry there’s no easy fix if you send me the file I will see if I can at least find out what information is in it, and might get a better idea on what can be done with it.
