Image scale overlay

Hi,

I think what am asking for is implemented  already yet I fail to find a post about it. So, I am trying to overly an image scale of micrometers onto a video image. Can anyone tell me what is the best way of doing so. Also, the image size can be changed thus I would like to update the scale accordingly (but this is something that one can look into later).

At the moment what I think of is to overly a rule image without any numbers (just ticks), is this they way to go or there is something more elegant and intelligent?

Hello,

Do you have Vision development module?

If yes, just go to Help >> Find examples >> and search for "overlay". You''ll find a bunch of example VI that show how to use overlays (they automatically adapt to the zoom factor).

Then code something and if you have troubles getting exactly what you want, post your code ;).
