Image resolution on browser

We capture a still black and white image at a reasonable resolution and send
it through a LAN to a web browser. On the http LabVIEW server the resolution
looks fine but on the remote browser it looks as if the resolution has been
halved! Any ideas? We are using a USB camera and special LabVIEW driver
which has appeared on this newsgroup more than often. Both Netscape
and IE give the same results.

A browser uses one resolution: 72dpi, or at least it should. That is the display resolution of any screen.

If you are sampling any higher than that, you may be getting some problems because of that. Try sampling at 72dpi and sending it to see what happens. If you still have the problem, let us know and we will try to help.
