Hi,
I'm sure this will have a really easy solution... but I haven't found it:
I am adding two IMAQ images of the same size. I want to make it so one image (which is just a bunch of lines) is on top, and the white background of this image is replaced with the other image.
If I use IMAQ add, subtract or compare it just seems to replaces the entirity of one image with the other...
I have come up with a solution (attached) involving masking, the only problem is that the mask image must be 2-bit and I want coloured lines.
Can anyone help?

Hello MOI maker,
When you say colored lines do you mean that you just want to replace one color with another on your 2 bit mask? If so you may want to try using a lookup table. If not, would you be able to provide further elaboration on what kind of coloring you are trying to accomplish?

I want the parts cut out of my masked image to appear red rather than black.

Hello Moi Maker,
Rather than trying to use a mask to overlay one image over the other, I would instead suggest using the Overlay Bitmap VI. I would recommend looking at this thread where Andrey Dmitriev has posted an example that does exactly what you are trying to do.
