IMAQ Question

Most of the examples use a routine called WinDraw - which I have looked
for and definately do not have on my LabVIEW V6. My supplier told
me that WinDraw was part of a special library which you pay extra for.
Why then do all the examples use this add-on? Can I still display images

using just an intensity graph?

Thanks

Tom. You can use the LabVIEW Intensity Graph or Picture Control to display images, but they won't refresh fast enough to appear as smooth as the WindDraw window. The WindDraw VI comes with NI Vision which contains all of our advanced Machine Vision and Image Analysis VIs.

If you only need the WindDraw VI, then I recommend downloading a special VI off of ni.com that can be used as a drop in replacement. It is called IMAQ Display without IMAQ Vision and can be found by typing "imaq display example" in the search field of ni.com.
