I need a curve fitting algorithim for polynomial fits, very compact for Fieldpoint implementation (can't use prebuilt VIs).

I can't use the prebuilt VIs because the libraries take up too much memory on my FP-2000s.  Anyone built up a polynomial fit VI that doesn't include the LV libraries or dlls?

How large is your VI? How much data are you storing? (In MBs)

You're probably better of doing curve fitting on the host side.

I would but the data points I need to fit are for a real time system that sets conditions based on the curve. 
My startup exe file runs about 300Kbytes and my data files run about 3-500 Kbytes per month.  I save 3-6 months on the controllers. 

The Fit VI dlls and libraries are about 12-18 Mbytes.  So they won't fit on my FP-2000 contoller.

That puts you to about 21-22Mb MAX. Doesn't it fit?

It seems like you may want to look into a controller with larger memory, such as the 2010/2015 or the newer compact FieldPoint controllers.

Well, this reply is a bit dated, but I finally purchased a cFP-2200, and am able to download and run all the fit VIs no problem.  I thought I should post an update for those who follow after me.
