I changed the library

Hi,
I changed something in one of the libraries - it is DAQmx Write.vi (Digital 1D Wfm NChan 1Samp) that is located in task.llb file. And unfortunatelly I saved the changes. Now I need to bring back the original version somehow.
Do you know, if there's a change to discard changes and get original VI ? Or download original library ? What is more, I use german version of LabVIEW.

best wishes

First thing you can try is repairing the installation (Control Panel>>Add\Remove Programs>>NI Software).

If that didn't help, and you installed it with LV, look at the CDs to see which CD has the DAQmx installer. Then, look inside the CD. The VIs are most likely stored in CAB files, which windows should be able to search in and open. Search for the name of the specific VI and copy it over the current file.
In general, it's very important not to change VI.lib VIs, because you can't know how the change will affect other VIs using them and because when you open your VI in another computer or version it won't be updated. If you do edit it, you should save it under another name.

Uff,
I wanted to fix it without reinstalling LabVIEW. I replaced the file by mistake.
But fortunately it turned out, that I had older (original) version of the file somewhere in different path.
Anyway, thanx a lot for answer.
