I have made a simple VI to show you one possible solution to your problem (see attached, LabVIEW 7.0).

It seems that some of the grid features used by the VI can't be backsaved. You could try rebuilding it from scratch, though.

I have downconverted it to 6.1 but I cannot test because I no longer have 6.1 installed. There is a chance that it uses certain features that were not avaliable in 6.1, so you might have a broken VI. Should be easy to fix, though. See of it works.

I did not get any error messages while converting, so it is probably OK.

If you don't understand some features of the code, use execution highlighting.

     Could you do that with a "Save with Options: Development Distribution", when I load it keeps looking for the Transmorgrify function.

Sorry, that one is proprietary. However, you should be able to construct something equivalent by using this manual.
