How to write OCR character file

Hi all I am using NI-VISION toolkit, for LCD segment investigation, I am trying to read LCD display with OCR functions, which need a character set file. How to write OCR file that is format in which we have to write. Regards Devender

In the start menu under  Nation Instruments\Vision on the is a link to a "OCR Training" application which can make Character Set Files.

If you want to do create a file from with in labview, You'll want to look through OCR functions in the function pallete Vision And Motion\Machine Vision\OCR.

I suggest you use Vission Assistant to create your Character Set File. It is a lot easier than trying to do it in code in LabVIEW. Then just reference the path where you saved this file in the OCR Read Function in LabVIEW.
