Solution
Accepted by topic author alex.

If you are new to ActiveX , then I would start here: What Are ActiveX and ActiveX Automation?

Your specifc ActiveX control will have its own documentation on how to program it, so you won't find this information in LabVIEW.

Just out of curiosity, what are you trying to plot and what ActiveX control are you trying to use? Have you tried the LabVIEW plots?

When I load it, I can post a screenshot for it.

The final looking should like the attached screenshot.

It can display point to point data accumulately with colors indicating the point density.

I tried to register the .ocx file succussfully, bu when I tried to insert it into the activeX container, still cannot find it in the drill down list.

Any suggestion? Thanks.

This tells us absolutely nothing because you still haven't explained what ActiveX control you are trying to use. There are like zillions of ActiveX controls. What is that a picture of? What application is that from?
