How to set gain in AT-MIO-16E-10

Hi to everyone I have to set gain of one analog input channel. To control gain I use two vi's Group config and hardware config. I chose a part of my program only with gain and attatched it to this message. I sent gain to for example 10 and it shows that gain is 10, but nothing happens to the signal that I measure, I meand the value is still the same it isn,t multiplied by 10. Can anyone help me, I will be very grateful

I don't think I've ever used the gain setting. I've only ever used the input limits as that is the default used by functions such as AI Config. Setting the limits to what you expect the signal to be will automatically set the correct gain. You will not see the amplitude values multiplied by ten or any other number you set the gain to (at least if you are returning a DBL or a waveform). The DAQ software will automatically scale the results for you. That is really a good thing as you don't have to remember to scale it in your program. What changing the gain will do is increase resolution
