What is "the machine" and what is "entering"?

(I used "index array" to get a particular value from an array of setpoints and move the index for each new section.)

by machine I mean my calibrator, by entering I mean the new setpoint that I have to set.

The setpoint is set with the characters circled in the figure, I want the temperature setpoint to increase automatically from 0 to 100 degrees each time, increasing by 10 each time.
