How to send SMS using SIM900A GSM Module?

I bought a new SIM900A GSM Module connected to my laptop using USB connector.
I need to send a text message like OTP to a mobile.

How can i proceed as i don't know it's working with LabVIEW?
Help needed!

Hi, 

1. Verify if your SIM900A is detected by your PC (install the drivers, if it's not plug and play);

2. Use AT command to send your data by using Serial Communication (Data Communication>>Protocols>>Serial);
