How to read enumerated values from an OPC server via Datasocket

I've already checked with someone in the US and they confirmed what I suspected, that there isn't a specific function in LabVIEW that can access that OPC property, however I will go back to him with the extract you found from the web and see if he has any suggestions.

I've contacted the US, unfortunately this information doesn't really help when it comes to reading this OPC property in LabVIEW. When LabVIEW acts as an OPC client, it must have an address from which to retrieve its data. It is not clear from your last post how this information is normally accessible to any OPC client. It does not appear that this item would have an OPC address from which to read.

Can you be more descriptive about how to read this OPC value from any client? With this information we may be able to come up with a way to do it in LabVIEW. Have you tried contacting the manufacturer of the OPC server? This feature is included in the OPC server, and they must now how it is accessible to clients that would like to make use of it. I wish I could provide more information for you, but I hope this helps!
