How to read array from ActiveX ?

Is there some special trick to read an array of say
floats from an activex control?
I'm trying to pass the data through the method parameters
and not as a return value!
All i get is the initial values assigned to the array in
labview.
It seems that labview is passing a copy of the array
to the activex control?!
