How to open subvis before software execution?

Since it's just for debugging, I'd probably recommend you just open any potentially problematic sub-vis from the Block diagram as needed.  I wouldn't think that an explosion of front panels would be very helpful in debugging.

 

But maybe it is.  I don't know what your situation is.  Just my two cents.

I put a static reference to  the new VIs on my main diagram, inside a DIAGRAM DISABLE structure.  

Then it's a double-click away.

Yes, I understand but it is not more than 4 subvis and they are custom PID blocks for calibrating.  I have a main DAQ FP and 3 control subvis FP and I want to control/tune on one monitor and data aquisition on the other.  Thank you for all your inputs and helping figure this out.
