How to open a .vi at a preset position?

And am looking for an extension of that idea.
We are coming up on 20 years since that answer was provided and I am now pondering an issue that mostly did not apply to the Era of CRTs... How do I not only select X&Y on a monitor, But the specific monitor among the 4 I am working on?
